Self-archiving Policy

Management Science Advances (MSA) supports self-archiving and encourages authors to disseminate their research through appropriate scholarly repositories and academic platforms in order to increase the accessibility and visibility of their work.

Authors may deposit and share all versions of their manuscripts, including:

  • the submitted version (preprint);
  • the accepted manuscript; and
  • the final published Version of Record.

Authors may deposit these versions in institutional repositories, subject-based repositories, recognized preprint servers, personal or institutional websites, academic networking platforms, and other appropriate scholarly sharing services.

No Embargo Period

MSA does not impose an embargo period on self-archiving. Authors may deposit and make permitted versions of their work publicly available without requesting prior permission from MSA or Scientific Oasis (SCIO).

Version of Record

When sharing or depositing the published Version of Record, authors should provide complete bibliographic information for the original publication, including the author(s), article title, journal title, volume, issue, page range or article number, where applicable, and publication year.

A persistent link to the article's DOI should also be provided. Authors are encouraged to use the DOI of the final published article as the canonical link when sharing any version of the manuscript after publication.

Copyright and Licensing

Articles published in MSA are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Authors retain copyright in their published articles. Redistribution and reuse of the published Version of Record must comply with the terms of the CC BY 4.0 license, including appropriate attribution to the original author(s) and source, provision of a link to the license, and indication of any changes where applicable.
