About the Publisher – Scientific Oasis (SCIO)

Scientific Oasis (SCIO) was established in 2014 as the European Centre for Operational Research (ECOR), operating under the umbrella of the Regional Association for Security and Crisis Management (RABEK). In 2023, ECOR became an independent organization and was renamed Scientific Oasis (SCIO).

Scientific Oasis was founded by international scientists and university professors with the objective of supporting high-quality research, scholarly communication, international scientific cooperation, and the dissemination of research across management science, decision science, engineering, and related interdisciplinary fields.

Focus Areas:

  • Management Science and Decision Analytics: research addressing managerial decision-making, quantitative analysis, decision support, organizational performance, and evidence-based management.
  • Sustainable and Resilient Systems: research on sustainability, resilience, environmental management, risk management, and responsible organizational and societal development.
  • Operations, Supply Chains and Transportation: research addressing operations management, supply chain management, logistics, transportation systems, resource management, and the performance of complex operational systems.
  • Data-Driven Management and Decision Support: analytical and computational approaches that transform data into knowledge and support effective managerial and organizational decisions.
  • Interdisciplinary Management Research: integration of management science with engineering, economics, information systems, sustainability, and other relevant disciplines to address complex decision problems.
