Post-publication discussions and corrections

Management Science Advances (MSA) encourages constructive post-publication discussion of articles published in the journal. Authors, readers, and other members of the scholarly community may raise comments, questions, or concerns by contacting the Editorial Office. Where appropriate, post-publication discussion may also take place through independent scholarly discussion platforms such as PubPeer.

PubPeer is an independent post-publication discussion platform and is not operated, controlled, or moderated by MSA or Scientific Oasis (SCIO). Comments or discussions appearing on PubPeer or other independent platforms do not represent the views, findings, or editorial decisions of the journal or its Publisher.

Post-publication comments concerning articles published in MSA should, where submitted directly to the journal, be relevant, evidence-based, and expressed in a professional manner. General scholarly criticism or disagreement may be considered in accordance with the journal's Academic Debate policy.

Where a post-publication discussion raises credible concerns regarding the accuracy, reliability, ethics, or integrity of a published article, the Editorial Office may assess the matter in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies. Authors or other relevant parties may be contacted and given an appropriate opportunity to respond where further assessment is necessary.

Where the matter raises a credible allegation of research or publication misconduct, it will be assessed in accordance with the journal's Procedures for Dealing with Allegations of Unethical Behaviour.

If assessment of a post-publication concern indicates that the published scholarly record requires formal amendment, any correction, Expression of Concern, retraction, article removal, or other appropriate post-publication action will be governed by the journal's Retraction and Correction Policies.

MSA handles post-publication concerns with due regard to applicable guidance provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
